Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, one of the flagship vehicles of Maruti Suzuki hasn’t lost its spark amongst the buyers ever since it entered the Indian market. It is getting popular day by day as it’s been seen a steady growth throughout its lifetime.

The car is stylish inside out. The exteriors aren’t jumpy but are perfectly edgy and the dual tone interiors give the car a grand look. The car is surprisingly a spacious car, it has ample space for its occupants and the driver seat is the most spacious when compared to any other car in this segment

The Wagon R Lxi CNG variant comes powered by 998 cc aluminum K-series, 3-cylindered engine. It uses four valves per cylinder for the precise fuel input and efficient operation. The power output of this CNG variant is rated at 60 PS @ 6200 RPM (8 PS less than petrol version) and 77 NM @ 3500 RPM (13 NM less than the petrol variant). To channelize this power, Maruti has made use of 5-speed manual transmission which features the cable Technology for precise engagement and smooth shifting experience. It can go up to a top speed of 137 kmph. This variant can give an average mileage of up to 26.6 kmpl which is quite convenient for the fuel type used. It is available in 6 colors.

The 13-inch wheels are suspended through McPherson Strut and trailing link at the back while the stopping power is provided by a combination of disc and drums brakes. The fuel tank capacity is 35 liters while CNG cylinder capacity is rated t 60-liters. The safety and security features on this Lxi CNG are quite basic in nature. You get a Steering wheel with a collapsible feature, body structure with energy absorbing feature, beams for minimizing the side collision impact, child lock on the rear doors, engine immobilizer, headlamp leveling, front wipers with intermittent speeds, and warning lamp for driver seat belt. Handling is good enough though roll-out can be felt at high speeds resulting in low high-speed stability.

Though may at times feel the steering going out of your control as it shakes off at high speeds, the car gives a smooth ride on city and highways. It is quite easy to handle and very safe to drive around corners.

The electrically assisted power steering wheel makes the driving easy and although it doesn’t provide feedback on the highway, you will have no complaint about its lightness while driving on the congested roads throughout the city.
